Kathrin Romany Beckinsale (born 26 July 1973)[1][2][3] is an English model and actress. After appearing in a few minor TV parts, her film debut was Much Ado About Nothing (1993) while she was a student at the University of Oxford. She has been in British dramas like Cold Comfort Farm (1995), Emma (1996), Shooting Fish (1997), and The Golden Bowl ((2000). Beckinsale was the first actress to make a film in the United States in late 1990s. After appearing in small-scale dramas The Last Days of Disco (1998) and Brokedown Palace (99), Beckinsale starred in Pearl Harbor (2001), Serendipity (2002) as well as Tiptoes (2004). In addition to her roles as a lead in The Aviator (2004), Click (2006) and Click (2006), she also appeared in the film Click. These films helped make Beckinsale an established star in Hollywood. She also starred in the films Click (2006) and The Aviator (2004). She continues to make appearances in smaller dramatic projects such as Snow Angels (2007), Nothing but the Truth (2008), as well as Everybody's Fine (2009).
