Following her move to Minneapolis in 1996, she launched her career as a singer. Prince was the producer of her self-titled album. Electra began modeling glamour in 1996 and made appearances in Playboy magazine. Then she moved to Los Angeles where she made her acting debut as Lani McKenzie in the MTV drama show Baywatch (1997-1998). She was a part of the cast with Dave Navarro in the reality show 'Til death do us part: Carmen and Dave. Six was also voiced on the animated show Tripping the Rift. Electra was later known for her parody movies like Scary Movie (2000) and Scary Movie 4 (2006). Also, she was a part of Date Movie (2006), Epic Movie (2007) and Meet the Spartans (2008). Get Over It (2001) and the Disaster Movie (2008) are among her other credits in films.
